The camp has 16 natural walled units which are combined with a clever mix of local stone and canvas walls with wood and glass, shaded by a thatch roof, while the living area combines indoor and outdoor dining areas, weather permitting. Features also include an open fireplace, a lap pool adjacent to the main areas, a bar, and a curio shop. This is a wonderful area for enjoying the dramatic Damaraland landscape.
There are no large concentrations however springbok, ostrich, oryx and
predators such as cheetah and bat-eared fox occur. The Doro Nawas
Conservancy is a shareholder in the camp, as such they benefit directly
from employment and an equity stake in the venture.
